Setting up the office « Thread Started on May 23, 2009, 12:00am »
Kris sat down at her desk with a sigh. every year it seemed her office was messier and messier. She could hear ron and emma fighting over something in the other room, which made her have to get up from her desk and go into the other room.
"It's my toy!" emma yelled, yanking a toy giraffe out of ron's hands.
"no, it's mine!" ron yelled back, yanking the toy out of emma's hands.
"Hey, both of you need to stop and learn to share," kris scolded, and sighed.
"but mommyyyy, it's my toy, i don't wanna shareeeee," emma pouted.
Kris sighed again. "If you two don't learn to share, i'm gonna take the toy away," she said firmly.
After a few minutes, emma and ron started to quiet down a little bit, and shared the toy. Kris walked back out into the office to finish straightening it up, and getting stuff ready for classes.

Marius came and knocked on the Headmistress's door, wanting to discuss something. He hoped she wasn't too busy, but when he heard the commotion inside, he almost turned to try back later, but he figured that would be rude.

The twins hadn't stopped fighting over the toy, so kris had taken it away, and split the two up and put them in a 5 minute time out, setting ron on the couch, and setting emma on the bed in the other room. As she walked out of the other room, she heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" she called.

Marius opened the door and stepped inside and closed it behind him. "I'm sorry to disturb you at such a hectic time, if you'd like, I can come back later when you have more time," he said as he stood right by the door, his hands clasped behind his back.

"I wanted to discuss my son," Marius began. "I do feel he is getting too old to join me at the staff table yet he is still two years away from being sorted and starting school. I was wondering if I could arrange for him to have his meals in the sitting room of my quarters? I trust him being there alone, he'll be alone while I'm teaching."

"I think that could probably be arranged," kris said. She was sure it wouldn't be a problem since that was pretty much how suzu's meals had been arranged the year before. "i'll talk with some of the elves in the kitchen this afternoon for you," kris said, picking up some of the papers sitting on the coffee table, and setting them on her desk.

"Thank you Headmistress," Marius said with a slight nod of his head before he turned and headed towards the door. "Thank you again for allowing me to bring him with me," he said turning back to her before he left.
