Rush had heard about his sister December's old team having a get together and being the social kid he is, decided to have one for his old team as well. He sent owls to all the kids he used to play with on Hufflepuff team and waited at the Hogs Head hoping some would show up.
OOC: When Gwen was capt/seeker there was Alek a beater and Rush a chaser. Gwen was coach over, Rush a capt and Alyssa seeker, sam - chaser, sieta - chaser and kimi - keeper. I thought it would be interesting to see Gwen and Alek interact haha..

Gwen walked in with Katie. Who had been the coach for all the kids, Gwen was assistant for her. Gwen was very excited to see everyone. Not Alek maybe. (Should she bring a date? lol) She still had feelings for him, but not in ways where she wanted to be with him. Katie brought Irish with her, Cailley was spending the day with her Aunt Boa. Dakota was also on the team so she tagged along.

Rush saw Gwen and Katie walk in so he waved them down "Over here" he said happy to see them. He stood up while the girls choose their seats. "How have you girls been?" he questioned as he went to go get a high chair for the baby.
Kimi and Seita arrived. Kimi sat next to Irish's high chair so she could play with him. He was just too cute. She got up for a second and gave Rush a big hug "Oh Rush! I've missed you!" she said truthfully "we really need hang out sometime"
Rush and Sieta gave each other a special handshake.

Gwen hugged Rush. "Hey you. I see we are the first ones here. I have been amazing actually. How have you been?" Gwen glanced at the time on her phone. She knew Cody was going to be showing up soon. "What have you been doing Rush?"
Katie got Irish all settled. "Hi! Its so good to see you." She looked at Kimi. "He really likes you Kimi. Which is really nice at outings like this. "Hi Seita."

Rush said "You know following the surf. Thats all I do really. I train for surfing competions, I compete and then start the cycle all over again. I miss quidditch though. I haven't played in quite a while" he laughed "I'm going to ask you what you've been up to Gwen, but what I hear around and ready randomly in the newspaper you're a pretty busy business woman"
Kimi smiled "I'm glad he likes me. I like him back" she winked at Irish. Kimi took out a piece of paper out of a little notepad in her purse. She folded it and made it into a crane and then used her want to enchant it to fly around Irish "You like that Irish?"
Seita said "Hi" to Katie and was intrigued at what his siter was doing. He said "I'll be back" and than ran into the bathroom.
When Sieta got there he saw Alek. "Alek Krum" he said cautiously. The guy looked really nervous.
Alek put up a smile "Sieta? Wow.... is that really you? Last time I saw you ... you were this tall. You've really grown" he was happy to see the kid.
Cody walked in and saw Gwen "Sorry I'm 2.27 minutes late. I hope you'll find in your heart to forgive me for not being on strict business time" he joked "I'm on lawyer time... we're always late, believe it or not" he sat down taking notice of the people at the table "Hello everyone" he offered everyone handshakes.

irish threw his hands in the air trying to catch it. "eee!" Since he didnt talk he made sounds and giggled.
Gwen was watching Irish when she heard Seita. Alek was there and her heart was pounding. She wasn't sure if she should stand up and hug him first or what. Right when she looked up Cody walked in. She pushed out of the chair and smiled. She gave him a hug before he sat down. "No problem at all, I promise." She laughed. "I am just glad you could make it. I wanted to see you again before I had to go to Bejing for 2 weeks." She looked up at Alek. "Alek! How are you?" Somewhere confidence spouted up and she was able to walk over to him and give him a hug. "You look great."
Katie rolled her eyes. "Oh dear." She whispered to Kimi. "Alek and Gwen in the same room, with her date. How lucky we get front row seats for this." She smirked. Katie smiled over at Rush, "The family only gets to see her normally if we stop into the shop and promise we can cover a shift while she flys off to some far off land." She chuckles. "She is always flashing off to somewhere."

Kimi laughed a bit nervously to what Katie said about Gwen and Alek.
Kimi said "I feel a bit stressed... what if they get in a fight or something. This could get awkward"
Cody was about to ask Gwen why in the world she would be going to Bejieg but then he saw her practically fly out of her seat to hug some guy. It was he soon realized Alek Krum. He noticed how she was hugging him, they seemed pretty close and wondered what exactly was going on.
Alek hugged Gwen "Gwen you look great" she smelled good too but didn't want to say that outloud. "how have you been? My sister was telling me some things from last she saw you but all the same I'd love to hear it from you. Are you coming to my sister's opening night right?" it seemed like they'd never been apart. Like they were still together, like no time had pass. He felt his heart reach out to hers and then he was thrown back into reality that he had been dumped... and for what... for her to be single. How lame of a bf must he had been for her to dump him just to dump.
Sieta returned from the bathroom and sat back down.

Gwen realized she was being to strong toward Alek and took a major step back and stood behind Cody. She leaned down and whispered. "Sorry about that." Standing back up. "Alek this is Cody Lucas. Cody this Alek Krum. I bet you already know each other..maybe." She had her hands on Cody's shoulder's resting. "Oh yes Alek. There is no way I would miss her opening! I am very excited for it. She said there is a slot for me and I am going to bring just a few things. Maybe a few thing I make while I am in bejing actually."
Katie laughed at Kimi. "I don't think there will be a fight. Well maybe, Gwen does have a temper. But I am curious how Alek takes her being on another guy. She said she dumped him cause she wanted to be single, and it was very true, but I also think it was cause Alek was jsut to good for her."

Alek took Cody's hand "Its very nice to see you again Cody" he was trying to be classy as always.
Cody shook Alek's hand a bit nervously "same here Alek. Always a pleasure mate"
Alek smiled "thank you" then he turned his attention back to Gwen "Bejieng? I'm glad to hear you are still traveling and making your mark" he sat down at the table. My sister will be very pleased that you are going to come to her big event. She has been planning it for so long"
Alek watched her curiously as she seemed to be very close to Cody and wondered how long this had been going on. He still couldn't understand why she broke up with him. It seemed that he had met her through Boa and once she broke up with his brother for her's she followed suite and left him. That always made him wonder what had really happened. He didn't want to think about it though. It hurt too much.
A waitress came by and Kimi ordered butter beers and hot cheese bread and salad for everyone.
Seita said to Alek "I saw that game you played last week against the Italian team. It was bloody brilliant mate. Your hits are so powerful you always knock atleast one chaser completely off their broom.. and Viggo caught the snitch so fast. It was impressive."

Gwen smiled. "Yeah, you know me with making my mark." She sat down so she was in the middled of Cody and Katie. She kicked Katies foot in a sign of help. "You have always been a strong player Alek." He hands were starting to shake so she shoved them in her lap. "May I get your finest bottle of Merlot please." She took a deep breath and smiled at Cody. "Do you drink wine? Guess I should have asked that before I ordered." She really needed that wine. "So Cody, would you like to go see Bejing?"
Katie wanted to laugh when her sister kicked her. She ignored it and looked at Alek. "Yeah Alek, Ian and I went and watched that game actually. I wanted to say hi afterwards but the babysitter called and we had to dash back. You play better than I have ever seen before."

Cody answered Gwen "Yeah what you ordered is find" and added "yeah who wouldn't want to go to Bejing" then he laughed "was that a real question? Are you really asking me if I want to go with you?"
Alek was listening intently to Gwen and Cody's converstation but turned his attention to Katie as talked to him "Thank you Katie. I've been working extra hard lately. Our father wanted our team to make it to the Quidditch World cup this year. We won't know for sure until next week but I have a good feeling we made it."

Gwen smiled and rested her hand on Cody's. "Yes I am asking if you would like to go with me. I have a flat there for the week and I my meetings will only be 3 days and shouldnt take up the whole time. The places to eat and see are very fasinating. I am always going alone, it would be really nice to have someone there to keep me company." The tender brought the wine with a few glasses, poured the wine in the glasses and then walked off. Gwen took a sip. "That is wonderful. Oh and there are two bedrooms so I promise not to take advantage of you." She grinned.
Katie smiled. "Well we will be sure to be there if you make it. Seth has this tent that pops up to be like 2 bedrooms and a kitchen and living room. I am making Ian go out and get one for us this weekend I think. I was thinking a threebedroom would be prefect. Since we have the kids and incase other need to stay in it." She smiled big.
Irish was still playing with Kimi. He was bouncing up and down giggling.

Cody was shocked but in a good kind of way "Wow, Gwen that is an amazing offer. I really would love to go but I'm afraid I can't. I have a really huge case I'm working on. I couldn't possibly leave right now. I feel awful saying no to that" he felt like a jerk saying no but he really couldn't go with that case. He wondered if that was a make or break moment... whether Gwen would just never invite him to anything again and loose all interest in him.
Alek was half listening to Katie as he was subconsiously listening to Cody and Gwen talk about China. He smiled at Katie though and said "sounds like an amazing tent. If you guys make it I'll have to come say 'hi' to you before the game" then he said "How is your team going?"

Gwen looked sad. She took another sip of her wine. She thought for a few moments. "Maybe you could apperate over after work one day. The wonderful joys of apperation." She smiled and leaned over towards him. "But I understand if you are too busy." She said it in a good way, not a guilty feeling way. "I am so busy all the time, so we can always do something another time."
Katie wanted to laugh cause she knew Alek was trying to hear Gwen and Cody but she didn't show it. "My team? Its doing really well, I have still been trying to go to practices but I have taken a leave actually. I think we were in the running for the tournament but I have been so busy I am not sure. Kinda sad I know. I just got on at the ministry again and that makes me happy. I am working as an Auror. Ian hates it cause it could put my life at risk, but its what I have wanted since 1st year, even more than I wanted quidditch I think deep down. I love quidditch but I have been doing it for a while now. And I am still on maternnity leave."

I really want to spend more time with you but my job is so hectic a lot of the time its hard to get real time off from it" he shrugged "clients expect you to be their slaves basically" he gave a little smile "and if they'll pay I'm usually willing to oblige"
Alek was still listening to Gwen and Cody. He said to Katie "An auror huh? I had no idea that you were that intense about doing it. I can see why Ian would be mad and you have two kids now right?" he smiled at Kimi and Irish who were playing with Seita. "He is really adorable by the way. If Ana was here she would not leave him alone. Ana loves little babies"

"Yeah I worked for the ministry off and on since the year after i graduated from Hogwarts. And yes, I have two Cailley and Irish. Maybe I will bring Irish along if I am able to go to Ana's Gala." She teased. "I might find a new baby siter."
Gwen smiled. "You better not be a slave to them." She teased. She understood the whole having to work thing, it was one of the reasons she and Alek didn't work out-in her mind- but she also wanted to be able to see Cody to see if they were a match at all. She put her hand on his. "I do hope we will find sometime to spend togeather. Do you live on your own? I have a really cute flat above my store you are always welcome to stop by." She laughed. She noticed out of the corner of her eye that Alek had been glancing over but she ignored it cause she wanted Cody.
