Siccah had an idea. "I know what might help move things along with Lucius. We are having a party next weekend at Diggory manor, to celebrate Wynter's graduation and homecoming. Maybe you and your family would like to come?" she asked. "It will give you a chance to meet the whole family, and Lucius can hang out with Xavier."

"That sounds like a nice idea," Marius said with a smile. "I do not know about my sister and brother though. They seem to have crazy lives of their own right now." Marius reached over and grabbed Wynter's hand. "I seem to have forgotten something though," he said to Wynter as he looked her in her eyes. "Would you do me the honour of being my wife?"

Wynter was completely shocked. Not only that he proposed, but he was doing it in front of her grandmother.
"Marius, I want nothing more than to be your wife!' she said with tears rolling down her face. "The answer is yes!" she said happily.
Siccah was so happy for them, but was sad at the same time. She never got the chance to marry her soul mate, her Cedric.
"I am so happy for the both of you!" Siccah said. "Maybe we should turn the party into an engagement party." she said.
"Marius" Wynter hugged him. "Will your parents approve?"

"They seemed to like you," Marius said as he shrugged. "I don't see why they wouldn't. My mother has been wanting me to find someone for a while now anyway. I don't think we should announce an engagement quite yet though Professor," he said to Siccah. "It might take me a while to figure out a way to tell Lucius."

"Agreed!" said Siccah. "Your secret is safe with me." she assured him.
Wynter was so happy, but at the same time worried about Lucius. She wanted him to accept her, but understood if he didn't. She knew it would take time, and she was willing to give little Lucius all the time he needed. Marius too.
"Well kids, I hate to do this, but I have an appointment in a half an hour with the headmistress. Nothing to worry about, just girl talk." she said.
"I undersand grandmum." Wynter said. She grabbed Marius's hand and they started out the door.
"I will see you two next weekend, and Marius, feel free to stop in anytime." she said.
As the door shut behind them, Wynter turned to Marius and asked "Where would you like to go now?"

"I can show you my office," Marius said with a shrug. "If you have no where else to stay for the time being, you can stay with me. Maybe if Lucius sees you around a lot, he might get used to the idea?"

"I would love to see your office Marius." she said excitedly.
She thought about his proposition of staying with him. Though she did have a place to stay, she wanted to stay with him,. "Of course I want to stay with you. There is no place I would rather be."

Marius led her to his office and private quarters. "It's not as spacious as my father's quarters, but still nice," he said as he unlocked the door and took off the protections with a wave of his wand. "Excuse the mess as well," he said as he opened the door. The walls were lined in books of all types and there were piles of parchment all over his desk. "I was planning on finishing up the grading later tonight, but I can do that tomorrow."

She looked around his cluttered office. " That is ok, you can grade papers if you need to" she said with a raised eyebrow and a smirk as she sat on a comfy chair. "Is there anything you would like me to do for you?" she asked.

Marius didn't answer her, but moved closer to her and put his hands on her face and brought her closer to him. He closed his eyes and kissed her deeply, savouring her sweet taste on his lips.

Wynter waited for this moment. It was more than she had hoped it would be.
She pulled him closer to her, wrapping her arms around him, letting him kiss her, kissing him back. It felt good in his arms. and she didn't want this night to end.
